Inheritance Cycle Covers

These books were designed and built as a gift to my girlfriend. she loves reading and wanted to read a book series that I liked. So I picked the Eragon series or “The Inheritance Cycle” as I read the whole series in high school when I was an avid reader. I picked this book series to read as the 4th book was the biggest book in the school library and for some reason that was a vital factor in my decision making process. The books were built out of thick card and felt to which I wrapped the paper printed cover designs over, then I removed the covers from the original books and inserted them into the new hard covers. I also added gold sprayed edges that dulled into a goldish brown over time which although wasn’t intended, added a more lived and rustic appearance to the books that both my girlfriend and I grew to like more.
